Six steps, fully automated. Your customer never leaves WhatsApp and you never pay a percentage cut on the transaction.
1. Order on WhatsApp button
Paste one snippet into your Shopify theme. Every product page gets a button that opens WhatsApp with the product, variant, quantity and store link pre-filled — no typing for the customer.
2. Live stock validation
The moment the message lands, ZeroPay reads inventory from the Shopify Admin API for that exact variant. Overselling is blocked before any money is requested.
3. Order summary and confirmation
The customer receives an interactive summary — product, variant, quantity, total in INR — with Confirm and Cancel buttons. Sold-out items get a polite reply plus a link back to the store.
4. PhonePe UPI payment link
On confirmation we build a PhonePe PG request signed with your salt key and X-VERIFY hash, then send the secure UPI link straight into the chat.
5. Signature-verified callback
PhonePe calls back to your webhook. The X-VERIFY header is checked with a timing-safe comparison before the order is ever marked paid, so spoofed callbacks are rejected.
6. Receipt and Shopify sync
A confirmation receipt goes out on WhatsApp and a paid order is written back to Shopify so inventory, fulfilment and reporting stay in one place.
